Borrowing Magnolia
Cali Brutz, Ashley Steele and Stephanie Olvey requested my help to create a brand and website for their new business venture, Borrowing Magnolia. Utilizing modern, sleek typography with pastel accent colors, their goal was to create a luxurious online experience that eliminated the stigma of renting a wedding dress.
After updating their branding and website design, they requested that I create a new corporate style guide for client distribution. To keep the branding for this printed, album-style booklet cohesive with their updated look and feel, I kept photography at the forefront and added accents of warm peachy tones to create an organic, minimal vibe.
Since launching their site in the summer of 2014, their brand has become wildly successful, and was featured in The New York Times, ABC News, Fashionista, and Refinery29.
